What is Counselling?
Our qualified and experienced counsellors offer talking therapies combined with practical approaches such as utilising tools from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). They listen and provide support in dealing with emotional issues. Counselling can help you to cope with a wide range of issues, such as anxiety, stress, and depression, bereavement, low self-esteem, health issues, relationship issues/divorce and other family and personal issues.
Our counsellors use an integrative approach, which means that we see everyone as an individual. We will use the most appropriate techniques based on what will be most likely to have an impact for you and help you achieve your desired outcome.
What We Offer
Your counselling session is a safe, confidential, and non-judgemental space for you to discuss whatever you wish with your counsellor. Counselling sessions are available on a face-to-face and online basis via video-link. **Currently, all sessions will be provided remotely due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
Counselling can be provided on a short or long-term basis. Following an initial assessment session, we will discuss with you how many sessions of treatment we would initially recommend based on the issue you would like to work on.
Single Session Solution Focussed Therapy
We can also offer solution focussed single-session therapy, which takes a coaching based approach to assist you to address a particular issue or goal in a one-off session.
