Employee Counselling
What is Employee Counselling?
Our qualified and experienced counsellors offer talking therapies combined with practical approaches such as utilising tools from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). They listen and provide support in dealing with emotional issues. Counselling can help your employees to cope with a wide range of issues, such as anxiety, stress and depression, bereavement, low self-esteem, health issues, relationship issues/divorce and other family and personal issues.
What We Offer
We provide easy to access counselling to your employees, with no waiting list. Currently, all sessions will be provided remotely due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
Our fully qualified and BACP registered counsellors use an integrative approach, which means that we see everyone as an individual and select the most appropriate techniques based on what will be most likely to help achieve the client’s desired therapeutic outcome.
Treatment can be provided on a short or long-term basis. We can offer a fixed/capped number of sessions per employee, or a pay monthly option can be agreed with your organisation. We can take one-off referrals or agree an employee assistance/access programme for your employees.
Single Session Solution Focussed Therapy
We can also offer solution focussed single-session therapy, which takes a coaching based approach to assist employees to address a particular issue or goal in a one-off session. Can be offered as a one-off remote session, or an in-house clinic delivered at intervals of your choice.
Please contact us to discuss your organisation’s needs, from referring one employee, to providing a company-wide employee assistance programme.
Sleep Management Services – CBT for Insomnia (CBTi)
Getting good sleep is vital to our health and wellbeing. Well rested employees are happier, more productive, and have more effective immune systems.
How Can We Help?
Utilising the principals of the evidence based R.E.S.T. CBT for Insomnia programme, as developed by Sleep Unlimited, we aim to empower people to better understand how sleep works, and how to manage their own sleep and that of those around them.
Although many people believe medication to be a quick fix, ‘sleeping tablets’ are now rarely prescribed, as they can have serious side effects and actually impact negatively on health and wellbeing. CBTi is the NICE recommended guideline for treating a sleep disorder and has high efficacy and long-term positive effects. R.E.S.T. stands for Routine, Environment, Stimulation Control, and Thinking. The approach therefore offers a comprehensive look into sleep habits and provides tried and tested tips and solutions resulting in better sleep outcomes.
What We Offer
We can provide group workshops/information sessions to educate your workforce, creating happier, healthier, more productive employees, or 1-1 assessments and individual treatment to those who need a more specific intervention. Following the initial assessment and report, treatment can often be delivered very concisely, depending of course on the specific issues identified.
